If you're in Google Search Console, checking out the performance of a single keyword, and you see a pattern like this, what's going on? 🤔 What's being picked up here is rank tracking software. The software needs to perform a search to get the positions and thus it shows up as an impression on the days when the rank tracker runs. In this case, whoever is tracking this phrase set their tracker to run on Saturdays. What does this tell you? Clearly this phrase is important to one (or more!) of your competitors! Also, don't rely on impression data from GSC without looking at the patterns. I'd only consider impression counts from days other than Saturdays if I was trying to evaluate volume for this query. #SEO #GoogleSearchConsole #KeywordResearch
