It has been a momentous year at the Learning Disabilities of Saskatchewan. When I began working here in February, I knew how important this organization was and how excited I was to be part of it all, but really had no idea of the overall impact and what LDAS has done for the people of our province for the last 51 years. LDAS is a place of accomplishments, nurturing, development, help, mentoring, coaching, tutoring and so much more. Our clients are all ages, from kids to adults, and the work they put in is extraordinary. They are part of what makes us great. Our people: the psychologists, educators, tutors, coaches, administration, instructors and our board of directors, all with giant hearts, the qualifications, and how much they care about the success of our clients in Saskatchewan, in all three of our offices in Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon, goes beyond every expectation. 2024 was incredible and 2025 and beyond will be even better. Thank you to our people and thank you to our clients for making us what we are. Cheers! Graham

A heartfelt thank you to the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation for their generous $500 donation in honour of World Teachers’ Day! We truly appreciate their ongoing commitment to supporting learners and educators alike. 🙌 Special thanks to Bobbi Taillefer, STF’s Executive Director, for personally matching this with an additional $500 contribution! This incredible generosity fuels our mission to assist students, families, and educators. 🩵 Our Executive Director, Graham Snell, was proud to accept this donation alongside STF’s Communications Officer, Allie Hearnden. Together, we’re building brighter futures! 🩵 Thank you to everyone who liked and shared the post, your support means so much to us!🩵 #LDAS #WorldTeachersDay #CommunitySupport #Gratitude #BuildingFutures #ThankYouSTF

Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan reposted this
Always happy to visit your office Ryan Townend to see you, Lisa Hryciw and to fly the flag, advocate, and let everyone know about the important work we do at the Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan. Thanks for the great conversation about how we can work together to make great things happen.
Our friend Graham Snell spent some time today at WJ Agency telling us all about the Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan. At LDAS, they champion individuals who are neurodivergent – particularly those with ADHD, and math and reading challenges. LDAS core services include ADHD coaching, academic strategy and tutoring, employability coaching, adult education program, and psychoeducational assessments. The Learning Disabilities Association is part of the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada, which has chapters in all the provinces and territories in Canada. Last week our Board got together to plan the direction of LDAS in our strategic planning session led by Mubarka B. from BoardBe. The day was filled with group think, great ideas, thoughtful questions and answers and with everyone walking away with genuine optimism and excitement for the future. We have so much gratitude for our board, made up of Brennen Weightman, Liane Gottfried-Flengeris, Christine Olson, CPTM, Brianna Snow, Olga Kreps, Jade Gulash and Brent Kreuger. We also had both Rona Pelletier and Shelley Eckmire from our team involved in the day. We have been around 50 years and will be around for another 50 and more! #thankyou #strategicplanning #boardmembers #direction #support

We’re beyond grateful to Access Communications Children’s Fund for their incredible $5,000 donation to the Learning Disabilities Association of Saskatchewan! Thanks to their generosity, our ‘I Can Read: Books for Everyone’ project is one step closer to building a library filled with fun, engaging books for young readers who need a little extra support. We believe every child deserves the chance to fall in love with reading, and this donation will help make that possible for kids in Grades 1-4. Let’s inspire confidence and spark joy, one book at a time! 🩵📚 #LDAS #ICanReadBooksForEveryone #Saskatchewan

At our Annual General Meeting held on August 29th, 2024, we welcomed Christine Olson, CPTM as our new Chair and President of the Board, replacing Brennen Weightman, who led the Board of Directors through some challenging times in our organization. Many thanks to both of them for their dedication, time and hard work, along with our dedicated team of directors. #LDAS #nonprofit #meaningfulwork #dedication #leadership

When the Olympics are on and you are at work, there really is no choice but to set up a tv and encourage everyone in the office to stop in to cheer on Canada in between meetings and tasks. The amount of work these athletes have put in their whole lives needs to be recognized and can also be used for metaphors in business. Teamwork, leadership, working together, compromise and putting in the work. Let’s go Canada! #business #leadership #cheertogether #unity #LDAS

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming MP Brad Redekopp to our Saskatoon office! Thanks to the Canada Summer Job (CSJ) grant, we were able to cover the cost of one of our amazing summer students who plays a crucial role in running our camps. We’re incredibly grateful for the support that makes our programs possible. Big shoutout to MP Brad Redekopp and his office for their continued support! 🙌🩵🙌 #LDASK #CommunitySupport #ThankYou #LearningDisabilites #Saskatoon
