This morning, we had the privilege of welcoming the Honourable David Piccini, Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, MPP Brian Riddell, LiUNA International Vice President and Canadian Director Joseph Mancinelli, and LiUNA Local 837 Business Manager Riccardo Persi to our project for LiUNA Local 837. The Ontario government, through the Skills Development Capital Stream, is making a significant investment of $8.8 million to expand the LiUNA Local 837 Training Centre in Cambridge. This investment will empower over 5,000 labourers to enhance their skills and advance their careers, reinforcing the future of our workforce. We are proud to contribute to this initiative and help equip the next generation of labourers with our industry's highest training and skill development standards.

Completed over 5 phases, from building shell (Building B), to tenant fit-out for The Home Depot Canada, to base building façade alteration & parking lot expansion; Leeswood could not have embodied The Home Depot’s slogan even more than “How Doers Get More Done”! Located at 3150 Derry Road E in Mississauga, this 605,300 Sq. Ft. industrial build is a warehouse & distribution facility with 86 loading docks & a LEED Gold accreditation working with Verus Partners and Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. This base building loading capability was then expanded to include an additional 18 dock doors & 2 drive-in doors as part of The Home Depot tenancy. Phase I - Added fork lift charging areas, scrubber dump & shippers office modifications Phase I.5 - Exterior façade modifications to accommodate 3 new drive-in doors at opposite ends of building including exterior rapid roll up operation - Exterior façade modifications to accommodate new office entrance & additional exterior glazing - Installation of new in-rack sprinkler system to accommodate Home Depot Phase II - 11,190 Sq. Ft. Already such a beautiful looking building that we cannot wait to see the finished product. This 246,000 Sq.
