I'm grateful to have chatted with Melanie Ng at CityNews Toronto for the 10th annual #MenstrualHygieneDay! Results from a 2023 survey show that 1 in 4 Canadians agree periods are dirty/unclean, and about 1 in 5 agree menstruation should not be publicly discussed 🤯 From the beginning, nixit has been on a mission to remove this stigma. We believe addressing it through accurate education, open dialogue in public and private spaces, and supportive policies is essential for improving #menstrualhealth.
