  • LV has the largest boiler fleet in Alberta & BC - but, that’s not what we’re most proud of. It’s our team! It's their track record for safe operations, and the most detailed QC in the business. _____ Safety and efficiency are built into their routine. ➜ Hydro/steam test steam hose, with hose tracking & tagging ➜ Leak testing all lines prior to starting EVERY job ➜ Combustion analyzing to ensure: ↳ proper fuel/air mixture for operator and on-site safety ↳ performance efficiency _____ LV team – we're grateful for you. Couldn't do this without your diligence!

  • Is your current Boiler and Glycol Heater vendor CSA approved?? The team at LV Energy are proud to be! Here are a few critical aspects that can cost you, if missed: 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: B-149.3 doesn't just dictate the materials you should use. It also specifies the 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 of these materials with the types of gases used. This is essential for preventing corrosion and ensuring long-term system integrity. 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀: B-149.3 also sets stringent welding requirements, emphasizing the need for certified welders. Overlooking this can lead to costly reworks and safety hazards. 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: B-149.3 mandates comprehensive documentation for EVERY modification and repair. Missing or incomplete records can lead to compliance issues and delays during inspections. ______ Before hiring your boiler and glycol heater vendor - please make sure they're CSA approved. LV Team - what else would you add to this list?

  • Weigh in: Tri-fuel boilers VS. single-fuel systems… Most of LV’s units are tri-fuel, and it's for good reason: 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 Optimize fuel costs by switching between natural gas, propane, and diesel, depending on availability 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Option to switch to cleaner-burning fuels, such as natural gas or propane 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 You have the ability to pick (3) fuel sources in different regions – a huge economic benefit when logistical barriers present themselves. (𝘐𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴, 𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯… 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 – 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘳𝘪-𝘧𝘶𝘦𝘭, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦!) ______ Agree? Disagree? If you’re not using tri-fuel on your site and are curious about it - connect with Cody Villard or Justin McCool. Cody and Justin – weigh in. What did we miss?
