  • Celebrating the Success of McCormick Mobile! This year, McCormick Care Foundation proudly funded the first phase of McCormick Mobile, a ground-breaking pilot project made possible by the generosity of our Ritz Gala donors.   Co-designed with care partners, researchers from Western University Science, and McCormick Dementia Services, this innovative initiative brought education and support directly to care partners in their homes.   Using adult learning principles, McCormick Mobile provided tailored resources, including: ·        Interactive workbooks ·        Goal-setting tools ·        Short, engaging videos   These tools empowered care partners with the knowledge and practical support they need to navigate the journey of dementia care.   We are grateful to our incredible donors for making this possible and advancing excellence in dementia care.   To learn more about McCormick Mobile and how it’s transforming care, check out this news article from Western Health Sciences below. https://lnkd.in/gCDiXSRb   McCormick Care Group Western University Science

In a heartfelt Remembrance Day ceremony, McCormick Home honored the veterans among our residents and those serving across Canada. The gathering was a powerful tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our veterans, past and present, as moments of silence were observed, wreaths were laid, and memories were shared. The atmosphere was filled with deep emotion as we joined together to remember those who served and continue to serve, united in gratitude and respect. Today and every day, we remember.

  • On this day, we pause to honor and remember the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who served in the armed forces, both past and present. We remember the lives lost, the families affected, and the enduring impact of their service. Let us reflect on the freedoms we hold dear, freedoms that are safeguarded by the sacrifices of countless individuals who stood in defense of peace and justice. Their bravery has shaped the world we know, and it is through our remembrance that their legacy lives on. May we always strive to uphold the values they fought for, with gratitude in our hearts and respect in our actions. To those who gave everything, and to those who continue to serve, we owe a debt that can never be repaid—only honored, today and every day.

At McCormick Care Group, our story is built on a legacy of compassion, service, and dedication. It all began in 1874 with the Women's Christian Association (WCA), a visionary group of women determined to support their community’s most vulnerable. Their mission to provide care and comfort set the foundation for what McCormick Care Group is today. From humble beginnings, the WCA launched initiatives such as the McCormick Home, providing essential services for seniors and those in need. Over the years, this commitment to compassionate care has only grown stronger, evolving into the innovative, person-centred approach we proudly champion. Their legacy lives on in every client we care for. #McCormickCareGroup #LegacyOfCare #CompassionateCare #CommunitySupport #SeniorCare #WomensChristianAssociation
