On November 13, Mitacs proudly signed a historic Letter of Intent (MOU) with the Qatar Center for Quantum Computing (QC2)  at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), marking the first-ever Quantum-focused agreement between Canada and Qatar. This new partnership, the HBKU-Mitacs Strategic Collaboration, supports Mitacs’s commitment to advancing Quantum research under Canada’s National Quantum Strategy. Together, we’re paving the way for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and Quantum project delivery that will strengthen global innovation in this transformative field. A heartfelt thank you to Canada’s Ambassador to Qatar, Isabelle Martin, for witnessing this momentous occasion and her pivotal role in making this milestone possible.
