New findings indicate that immigrants’ skills, ideas, and experience are underutilised in Canada.  According to a joint report from Institute for Canadian Citizenship / Institut pour la citoyenneté canadienne (ICC) and Deloitte, newcomers to Canada are facing numerous challenges - from higher rates of unemployment, to an overemphasis on Canadian experience by hiring managers. But the report also found that employers who actively integrate newcomer talent gain a significant competitive advantage in the marketplace.  At MobSquad, we know firsthand that both newcomers and established Canadians prosper when highly-skilled immigrants are given the opportunity to thrive.
