🤐 Talking about how you feel can seem difficult, out of fear of not being understood. So, we keep everything to ourselves, even though sharing could bring relief. Find someone you trust or use a journal to express how you feel. Putting words to your emotions, even on a small scale, can help ease some of the weight you’re carrying. 💙

Sometimes, we forget that it's normal to have moments of doubt, to want change, or to make mistakes. This list is here to remind us that we’re all human, and that taking care of ourselves starts with accepting these truths: ✔️ **Wanting things to be different**: Aspiring to a new reality is the first step toward change. ✔️ **Doing what’s good for you**: Saying no, taking a break, or setting boundaries is essential to protect your well-being. ✔️ **Making mistakes**: They’re part of the journey. We grow by learning from them. ✔️ **Doubting**: Doubt encourages us to question and explore new paths. ✔️ **Changing direction**: Sometimes we need to reassess our choices to realign with our values. ✔️ **Being a work in progress**: Life is a constant evolution. You don’t need to be perfect today. 💡 Take a deep breath, read through this list, and remember—you have the right to be exactly where you are. 💙

Fatigue isn’t just physical; it can also be mental, or even both simultaneously. We often underestimate the importance of mental and physical rest to maintain a healthy balance. Try taking regular breaks to disconnect, whether through meditation, reading, listening to a favorite podcast, or simply allowing yourself some personal time. This helps recharge your energy and set you off on the right foot again.

😩 Anxious thoughts can feel like a chaotic tangle, with arrows pointing in every direction, leaving us exhausted. Calm thoughts, on the other hand, follow a clearer path, bringing peace and serenity. 🤓 To ease anxious thoughts, try practicing mindfulness or breathing exercises. Refocusing your mind on the present moment often helps dispel inner chaos and brings a sense of clarity.

Our team was on hand at Dawson College's Mental Health Fair to present our new self-management workshops designed specifically for CEGEP students. The event was a huge success, with students turning out in droves to talk about mental health, ask questions and discover new strategies for regaining power over their anxiety or depression symptoms. For more information on Relief's new self-management workshops for CÉGEP students, contact Pamela Soto, Customer Relations Coordinator. pamela.soto@relief.ca

⛴️ Carrying the weight of your own expectations and those of others can be overwhelming. Fear, stress, and doubt pile up and press down on our shoulders, while lighter expectations help us move forward without being crushed. 🌱 Try setting boundaries and prioritizing your own expectations. Surround yourself with people who offer positive support and remind you that hope is lighter to carry. Sometimes, lightening your load begins with recognizing your own needs. #relief #monrelief #psy #psycho #psychologie #psychotherapie #selfcare #selflove #anxiete #santementale #santementaleqc #santementalequebec #stress

😟 Sometimes, what we feel inside is much more complex than what we show on the outside. We wear a mask to keep moving forward, while a storm rages within. ☺️ Try to find someone you trust to share your true emotions with. Putting words to what you feel, whether by talking or writing, can lighten the hidden burden. Often, releasing what’s behind the mask is the first step toward well-being.
