Did You Know? 70% of young women who have been raped knew their rapist—the perpetrator was or had been a boyfriend, friend, or casual acquaintance. This alarming reality highlights the importance of understanding that most perpetrators are not strangers but people survivors know and trust. Let’s work together to raise awareness, support survivors, and create safer spaces for everyone. Source: National Sexual Violence Resource Center - https://lnkd.in/dG3Fw47J https://lnkd.in/dZx_cJid

🌟 Heartfelt Thanks to A Ripple Effect! 🌟 Over the holiday season, we were deeply touched to receive a generous donation of toys from A Ripple Effect, a non-profit that connects teen volunteers with children in our community facing trauma, illness, disability, and loss. Through their 6th Annual Rabbi Bulka Hanukkah/Holiday Toy Drive, they reached out to share the holiday spirit with Nelson House. These gifts brought joy to the children we support and reminded us of the power of kindness. Thank you for making a difference! #ThankYou #CommunitySupport #HolidayJoy
