NEW OPPORTUNITY: $4.3M Proposed EV Infrastructure Expansion for the City of Rochester, MN The City of Rochester, MN seeks to expand the region's public EV charging infrastructure. It is resubmitting its application for $3,468,400 in funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) program, with a total project cost of $4,335,500. If funding is awarded, the EV infrastructure project will include the installation of level 2 and DC fast charging stations at strategic areas, including downtown Rochester, the Rochester Community and Technical College Regional Sports Complex and along U.S. Highway 63 at the Fairgrounds Park & Ride. The CFI funding grant requires a 20% match by a private sector partner. The partner will be needed to provide turnkey services, including installation, operations, and maintenance of the charging infrastructure.
