2024 has been yet another exciting and fulfilling one for us here at Osprey Integrity. As we wind down, reflecting on our accomplishments, shortcomings and aspirations for 2025, we want to share a few of the highlights with you: - In January, we began supporting Cenovus Energy with a #DFPM (drones for preventative maintenance) program at a refinery in a POC capacity. The program has showed excellent ROI for the maintenance group with the quantifiable outputs being evaluated now. The campaign continues today. - We placed our first embedded #droneinspection crew at a Suncor facility in Northern Alberta, working increasingly closer with their aviation team throughout the year. The program has been exceptionally successful with expansion of services confirmed for 2025 based on results that are hard to argue with. - In May, we assembled a team of excellent inspectors and deployed to the Cenovus Energy turnaround in Alberta. Firstly, conceptualizing and then delivering on the role of the #inspection execution coordinator we worked diligently to mitigate delays in the #turnaround process specific to the inspection plan process. We look forward to applying our lessons learned on future outage projects! - Simultaneously in May, we had drone inspection and scanning crews supporting Cenovus, Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) outage events in Northern Alberta, and Rio Tinto in Northern British Columbia. - For the 3rd year in a row, we were fortunate to be engaged with the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) in #photogrammetry deployments to mountainous and remote locations. The logistical challenges that exist in-field execution remain some of our favorite to tackle. Who doesn't love all terrain vehicles, helicopters and camping off grid? - We formally stood up our American subsidiary and conducted a sizable scope of work in Denver, Colorado. The results have been well received and work scopes for 2025/2026 are being consolidated now. We're excited to be in the process of building additional presence and allocate additional resource to the USA in 2025. - Another large milestone was met when we successful challenged the Alberta Boilers Safety Association audit for our inspection program that has been, and will remain, technology driven. Our very own Jason Brownlee led the way in ensuring we successfully defended our Flight Safety Foundation RPAS BARS registration status. - Willie ensured that we continued to meet the operational execution requirements of our existing engineering, developer, utility, energy, and mining accounts, and was also success in developing additional relationships with new clients through competitive bid process. - We deepened our collaboration and product development relationships with many this year and are exceptionally grateful in particular for the trust afforded by Flyability, Suncor Aviation, Trendspek and Voliro. Thank you! ...and somehow, it feels like we're just getting started!
