About us
Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. (PNG) owns and operates a natural gas transmission and distribution system in west-central British Columbia, and through its subsidiary Pacific Northern Gas (N.E.) Ltd. (PNG(NE)), owns and operates natural gas distribution systems and a gas processing plant in the province’s northeast. This includes approximately 3000 km of distribution mains and services pipelines; and 1200 km of transmission pipelines. It is PNG’s goal to fulfill the energy needs of customers in the safest, most reliable and most efficient manner while achieving high customer satisfaction. PNG has been operating in Northern British Columbia for over 50 years. PNG is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TriSummit Utilities Inc.

PNG is observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Today PNG employees are wearing orange to recognize and commemorate the tragic history and multigenerational trauma of residential schools; honour Survivors and the children who never returned home, their families and their communities; and demonstrate our commitment to the ongoing process of reconciliation. PNG continues to listen and learn, and to build and maintain effective, respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous communities in the regions where we live, work and operate.
