ICYMI: Health Canada Has Approved Both Apple AirPods Pro Hearing Test Feature and Firmware Module Upgrades! According to the agency's medical device license listing site, both the hearing test feature and hearing aid features were approved on December 11th, 2024. At the time of writing, Apple's website still shows that "Due to regulatory restrictions, Apple is unable to release the Hearing Test and Hearing Aid features in Canada at this time." The French system is popular in audiology, where 1 point = 1/3 mm of inner diameter. Common sizes are 3 (1mm), 5 (1.5mm), and 7 (2.1mm). While smaller tips like FR 3 sacrifice airflow and can clog more easily, larger sizes like FR 7 may cause excessive noise for the client. We recommend trying the FR 5 for balance between suction power and client comfort!
