Today marks a very important day for us as a company. We are excited to share a major milestone in Patriot Battery Metals' journey to becoming a global lithium leader. Today, we announced a C$69 million strategic investment from Volkswagen Group, a key step in positioning the Shaakichiuwaanaan Lithium Project as a cornerstone of the North American and European EV battery supply chains. Key Highlights: Investment Details: Volkswagen Group, through Volkswagen Finance Luxemburg S.A., will acquire a 9.9% equity stake in Patriot at C$4.42 per share, representing a 65% and 35% premium to the 30-day and 90-day volume-weighted average price. Proceeds will be used to advance exploration, development, and feasibility studies for the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project. Long-Term Offtake Agreement: Binding commitment to supply 100,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate annually over a 10-year term to Volkswagen's wholly-owned battery manufacturer, PowerCo SE. The offtake will serve PowerCo's cell production in Europe and North America, including its battery cell factory in St. Thomas, Canada, capable of producing batteries for over one million EVs annually. Strategic Partnership: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PowerCo to explore shared opportunities, including potential downstream chemical conversion facilities, midstream cost-reduction initiatives, and advancing ESG leadership. This landmark partnership validates the world-class nature of our Shaakichiuwaanaan Lithium Project and underscores the strategic importance of creating a sustainable and competitive battery supply chain. 🌟 Exciting Updates from Patriot Battery Metals! 🌟 Our latest drilling at the CV13 Vega Zone has yielded remarkable results: 31.2m @ 3.35% Li₂O, including 4.7m @ 5.37% Li₂O 31.8m @ 2.07% Li₂O, including 11.7m @ 3.47% Li₂O We also drilled our highest grade sample: 0.9m @ 7.11% Li₂O. The Vega Zone is expanding significantly and remains open in multiple directions, offering incredible resource growth potential. This high-grade lithium discovery highlights the world-class nature of the Shaakichiuwaanaan lithium pegmatites. Exciting milestone for Patriot Battery Metals (TSX: PMET | ASX: PMT)! We’ve successfully produced a 307g sample of battery-grade Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate from the CV5 Spodumene Pegmatite. This achievement validates the high-quality of our low-iron spodumene concentrate and de-risks the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project (Quebec, Canada) as we move closer to production. We've successfully completed a significant phase of exploration at our Shaakichiuwaanaan Project in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, marking 127,700 meters drilled this year including ~65,000 m (262 holes) for the Summer-Fall program! Key highlights include: Infill drilling at CV5: Enhancing resource confidence, moving from Inferred to Indicated for a robust Feasibility Study. Assays for drilling done on the 4.6km CV13's Vega Zone: High-grade lithium results from follow-up drilling—assays coming soon! Geotechnical advancements: Essential groundwork completed for upcoming Feasibility Study. With these milestones, our path to Feasibility Study completion remains on track for Q3 2025.
