We're thrilled to welcome Siham Hagi Hussein to Praxis! Siham joins us as a Project Coordinator and will bring a wealth of research and engagement experience to our team.   Siham is completing her Master of Science in Experimental and Applied Psychology at the University of Regina and will start her PhD in the Fall. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Psychology in Spring 2022 and has held several positions as a Research Assistant in both the Faculty of Business Administration and the Department of Psychology at the UofR. With a commitment to making scientific knowledge accessible, Siham has published her research findings in open-access journals and presented her research at academic conferences and in classrooms as a guest lecturer. Outside of research, Siham enjoys being active, trying new food, and spending time with her two cats.    Join us in giving Siham a warm welcome!

Commendations to the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce in hosting its second successful Food, Fuel, and Fertilizer Summit in Regina last week. The Summit once again revealed the opportunities that exist for the Saskatchewan economy by leaning into the abundance of resources that lie within the borders of this province. Our CEO, Valerie Sluth FCMC, ICD.D was humbled to emcee this event in collaboration with John Gormley, K.C., ICD.D in the presence of international, national, and provincial political and private sector leaders. It was heartening to hear the performance of Saskatchewan business in the areas of sustainability and global relationship development.
