Throwback to last Thursday! I had the incredible opportunity to deliver a keynote at Google HQ in California—a highlight moment for me as a speaker and thought leader. But here’s the twist: this stage also became the scene of a little “first” I wasn’t expecting! After years of public speaking, I’d never faced a wardrobe malfunction…until now. 😅 So, what went down? I was wearing my go-to earrings with an oversized clasp (three times the size of the stud itself!). Midway through my talk, I felt that clasp slide right off and into my dress. Without missing a beat, I removed the earring, placed it on the podium, and kept going, turning it into a fun moment with the audience. It’s all about adapting, right?
