  • Great visit to the Belle Plaine site to see how Saskatchewan continues to lead the way in potash. The world’s largest solution mine produces millions of tonnes of potash to support global food supply. Our government is proud to continue supporting this important sector, which strengthens our economy.

  • As we head into 2025, it's important to reflect on what we've done, and where we're headed in the new year. Many Canadians are facing challenges this year — with affordability, with health care, with education, and more. Our federal government has let us down, over and over again. The carbon tax has been punishing for families across Canada, especially in Saskatchewan. Their radical anti-energy and anti-worker policies have made it harder to start a business, get a good job, or earn a good paycheque. Federal overreach has made it harder and harder for Saskatchewan to succeed. But despite all that, we're still thriving. Thanks to the incredible work of people across Saskatchewan, we're paving our own path forward. It's a path where we build a brighter future for Saskatchewan. Where taxes are low, our economy is strong, our communities are safe, and we're investing in the things that matter — like health care, education, and first responders. There's always more work to do, and our Saskatchewan Party team is ready for the task ahead. But we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the accomplishments we had through 2024, and celebrate the success we shared together. Here are a few things we did in 2024 to keep Saskatchewan strong: • Re-elected a strong Saskatchewan Party majority government, led by Premier Scott Moe. • Kept our economy strong — the strongest in Canada, with the lowest unemployment and fastest growth. • Axed the carbon tax on home heating. It's gone in Saskatchewan — and we'll keep fighting to end it permanently on everything. • The largest income tax cut in more than 15 years — making sure you bring home bigger paycheques. • Massive investments in health care and education — to hire teachers, nurses, doctors, and build hospitals, schools, and more. • Made our communities safer. We're FUNDING the police, not defunding like the radical left. • Made life more affordable with more tax credits for families, new grads, and people with disabilities. • Put Saskatchewan First and fought back against the Trudeau-NDP's radical anti-energy agenda. As we head into 2025, we know there is much work to do. To make life more affordable. To improve the quality of our health care and education. To make communities safer. And as a party, to earn back the trust of voters in the last election who voted for change. We look forward to doing that work with you — together. Happy New Year, Saskatchewan!

  • Last week, Saskatchewan re-elected a strong Saskatchewan Party majority government with 16 brand new MLAs. On behalf of the Saskatchewan Party team, thank you! Many Saskatchewan people voted for a strong economy and a bright future with the Saskatchewan Party. Many others voted for change. We intend to deliver both.
