  • At Site, we’ve built a team where everyone is great at what they do—and that includes our party planning committee. On Friday night, SiteHQ got the holiday treatment ✨ transforming (not exactly by magic, but with a lot of hard work) into the stage for our holiday party 🥂 Big thanks to all of the local vendors we partnered with to make this night possible: White Table Catering Company Inc., Banter Ice Cream, Foxglove Floral Cafe, and Lepps Bake House. The night was filled with a lot of fun—live music, amazing food, and a heated Site Trivia competition. It was a blast to get over 125 people in one room to celebrate all that was accomplished in 2024. To cap it all off, we enjoyed a feature film on the big screen with a “Year in Review” video produced by our talented video team. It was really special to get the whole SitePartners, SiteTechnology, SiteNews, and SiteTalent teams together to celebrate the season and a year that exceeded our expectations. At this rate, we’re going to need a bigger venue in 2025.

  • New WORK for SALUS. Construction has come a long way in recent decades, but when it comes to safety processes, they’re lagging behind. Most safety software solutions available have their limitations—that is, until Salus came along. As a leader in the construction industry, Salus has the most comprehensive safety management software solutions on the market. Now, we just needed people to know that. What started as a simple brand video update evolved into a complete brand positioning overhaul and the development of an ad campaign to launch it. We identified that while there is competition in the digital construction safety space, the offerings out there aren’t nearly as robust as Salus. We also realized that advertising in the safety software world was, well, "safe." So we didn’t just create a video. We boldly positioned Salus as “safety” itself in construction. We came up with the tagline: “Better SALUS Than Sorry” and created a brand video plus a series of ads that focused on being bold, authoritative, and funny. On top of that, when major federal funding came into play, we offered supporting public relations, coordinating a launch event, as well as a press event. Basically, everything and more. • How to Tell Your Employer Story as an Industrial Brand 💬 So, you have a solid team doing quality work. That’s great. Now the question is, how do you scale up with a brand that attracts the right talent and brings in new business? Here are a few ways to get started: 📖 Own your story as a brand—reflect on your organization and its place in the industry. If you don’t tell your story, someone else will. 🤝 The application and hiring experience say a lot to potential employees about what a company will be like to work for. To attract quality talent, companies need to offer a seamless experience, ideally without directing them to third-party websites. 🌱 Investing in your personal brand pays off. Rather than only posting jobs and content on a corporate page, post using your personal account. If you've invested time in building your brand as an executive and industry leader, it will drive results. Getting started is as simple as auditing your current brand, defining your position in the industry, interviewing your top performers, and owning your story on your social channels. • New WORK for Miracon. Miracon Development Inc. is an award-winning builder, recognized for the quality of their builds, but also for their customer service—something equally valuable in the building space—and it’s by design. Their process is intentionally customer-centric in every way. Homebuyers are brought into every major phase of building, so they get to be a part of the journey. But most importantly, Miracon is still there to support after the job is done. With their new website about to launch, it was time to tell their side of the story. We got to know the Miracon team and quickly understood they were the real deal. They truly care about their customers and understand that buying a home is the biggest purchase of most people’s lives. So why shouldn’t it have the best customer service? We decided this journey needed to be told in two ways—a sentimental storytelling portrayal, and a real-life story straight from the customer’s mouth. We developed a short film dramatizing the heartfelt Miracon homeowner journey, then created a second companion video interviewing real customers who truly represented the real-life difference Miracon makes. • If you need a video shot on location, or an espresso shot poured just right, there’s one person you want to talk to—Tyler de Blieck. As Site’s Manager of Field Production, Tyler is a talented cinematographer who has travelled across Canada capturing unique perspectives from behind the camera. Photography started as a hobby for Tyler, but as video content grew in importance, he embraced the challenge, discovering a passion for video—and especially drawn to the limitless possibilities of aerial cinematography. All this inspired him to start his own production studio, which he ran for six years before joining Site. Always striving for a healthy balance of creativity and competition, Tyler is an athlete whose accomplishments include representing his province in elite volleyball and competing in his first triathlon this summer. At SiteStudio, he doubles as our resident barista, experimenting with new gadgets on the espresso machine and teaching his coworkers how to pull the perfect shot.

  • New WORK for BC Road Builders and Heavy Construction Association 🚧 When the BC Road Builders approached us with a great idea to help spread awareness about job opportunities in road building, we set the wheels in motion, taking the RoadShow experience on a cross-province journey. Despite being a vital industry, highway maintenance and road building isn’t a particularly well-known field for the average British Columbian. The BC Road Builders wanted to change that by creating a talent-acquisition program that made it easy for people to see the jobs available, and try them out in a world-class simulator. Enter the BC Road Builders' RoadShow—a modern, dynamic brand that amplifies the BC Road Builders and brings the most in-demand jobs to the people. This talent attraction program was designed to reach underrepresented groups for key positions by taking the jobs and state-of-the-art simulators on tour. But when you have a big trailer driving across BC to recruit operators for heavy machinery like excavators and snowplows, you need to think big. So our work included everything from creating a new brand identity, website and social media channels to designing a truck and trailer wrap, producing photo and video content, strategy work, and producing all other marketing material. • New WORK for GCT Global Container Terminals. When a company needs marketing support but offers complex services that don’t translate smoothly to audiences, you need a partner who can put them in layman’s terms. That’s the kind of help GCT, one of Canada's largest container terminal operators, was looking for when they approached us. GCT needed to effectively communicate their complex service offerings, equipment names, and community benefits to local stakeholders and partners. After successfully supporting their Deltaport 25th Anniversary campaign and open house, Site was offered a recurring contract and continued to support a wide range of services. Our work helped GCT foster positive relationships with stakeholders and enhance community awareness of their contributions. We now provide strategic communications, media relations, and creative services, as well as event coordination as needed. • We celebrated Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers’s 60th anniversary by inviting them to tell their story in our newly completed SiteStudio. The first production in our finished space. Still a family-run firm today, Glotman Simpson’s history is one marked by influential projects, iconic moments captured on camera, and artifacts from its early days. We wanted to use all of these to tell their remarkable story. So we did, using strategic lighting to add drama and constructing a hand-built display case to project photos and tactile artifacts. It’s a glimpse of what we can do with SiteStudio. Let’s see what it can do for you.

  • New WORK for Fort Modular Inc 🏗 Fort Modular, a local supplier and manufacturer of modular units, faced stiff competition in an industry dominated by major players. Wanting to stand out but also demonstrate the “mom and pop” feel that makes them unique in the industry, they needed a new tone and brand for their company. We conducted a detailed blueprint strategy process, using stakeholder interviews to uncover Fort Modular's unique value proposition. The strategy emphasized the importance of a modern digital presence and positioned Fort Modular as a customer-centric provider of "Fortified Modular Solutions." Based on this research, we refreshed the brand, developed a new website featuring an extensive portfolio of case studies, and created a variety of video and photo assets. To tie the rebrand together, we established a social media presence with a tailored voice and posting cadence. Get the full case study 👉 https://lnkd.in/grmxNa2U
