From the outside, an office-to-residential conversion looks quite different from a ground-up development, since you're taking a creative approach to working with what you've got. While the interior transformation tends to be the most striking, our latest check-in features a sky-high view of the exterior progress at one of our ongoing projects. At 360 Laurier Ave, we’ve removed over 200 precast concrete panels to make room for double the windows, aiming to create a more residential feel and increase natural light in each suite for future residents. The transition period can be quite challenging (and messy), but it’s a necessary step in a successful conversion project. I was honored to be part of such an incredible community event in Timmins yesterday— EllisDon, along with our dedicated partners at Golden Manor, reached an important achievement by erecting the final steel beam of the building’s superstructure. This milestone was celebrated alongside the City of Timmins Council, including Mayor Michelle Boileau, construction workers, and, most importantly, the future residents and the community that will benefit from this development. Exciting progress at the new St. Joseph Catholic School in The City of Belleville! Our team is at the final stages of the interior work at the new St. Joseph Catholic School in Belleville. The project includes 20 new learning studios, a library commons, gathering spaces, and modern childcare facilities.
