FIGHTING CLIMATE CHANGE HAS NEVER TASTED SO GOOD.
About us
Toronto based Spent Goods Company diverts barley grains already used to make beer from local breweries to make delicious foods like sourdough bread, pretzels, bagels, and pizza. By diverting these grains from disposal, they retain high fiber and protein of barley, offset greenhouse gas emission, and create local jobs. They’ve been featured on CBC, BlogTO and voted Top 5 breads in Toronto! It's great food for thought around the topic of smart reuse and local food supply. Look for Spent Goods at these physical and online retailers and reduce your climate change footprint!

How Toronto’s new single use bylaw affects businesses and consumers We were curious about how this #singleuse by-law affects both us as a consumer and as a business. — Did you know that your reusable cup might get rejected if it’s not considered clean? — Are food takeaway containers covered under this by-law? — Is there funding available for businesses to transition away from single-use items? We’d love your input on whether we missed any significant pieces of this by-law in our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/g_Pri73W Were you aware of this new bylaw?
