A Veteran, Doug recently responded to the wildfire recovery in Jasper, AB where he helped homeowners by sifting through the remains of their homes for any surviving items. With his incredible heart for service, Doug has brought comfort and hope to disaster survivors when they needed it most. This holiday season, stand with Doug and other volunteers by supporting our Bring Hope Home campaign. Together, we can help communities rebuild. #BringHopeHome #HumanitariansAtHeart #DisasterRelief

It's Throwback Thursday to Jasper, AB. There have been incredible stories revealed by residents that illustrate the origins of their love for the town and the heartbreak of their loss. Here is one such story from a CBC reporter who is also a Jasper lover. https://bit.ly/3OgGLRo #jasper #disasterrecovery #affordablehousing #community #nonprofit #volunteer #giveback #donate #philanthropy #alberta

Access to safe water and sanitation is critical to the wellbeing of everyone around the world. Approximately 55% of the global population lacks safe sanitation and 80% of all wastewaters drain into waterways without sufficient treatment. The importance of assisting communities lacking resources, and providing a quicker recovery after a disaster cannot be understated. Team Rubicon's muck out and debris clearing capabilities are a critical piece to help those facing devastation recover safely. In addition, through our WASH program (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), we are helping vulnerable populations with water supply and purification around the world. Help us help. https://team-rubicon.ca/ #worldtoiletday @UNworldtoiletday #cleanwater #sanitation #healthycommunities

Team Rubicon Canada has been proud to partner with the Tim Horton's Foundation and Tim's Camps since 2022. From November 18 - 24, 50% of Holiday Smile Cookie proceeds will be donated to the Tim Horton's Foundation - so be sure to put a smile on your face by grabbing yourself a cookie that puts a smile on so many others who benefit. #timhortons #community @timhortonsfoundation #bettertogether

Our HQ team of doers made it happen on the ground alongside, as usual, formidable Greyshirt volunteers! Thank you all for serving Canada in so many ways! #gratitude #togetherinservice #veteranchangemakers #leadership
Last week, Team Rubicon Canada did some serious work at our Disaster Training Camp in Brockville, ON. Our Sawyers, Heavy Equipment Operators, Instructors, and C&GS all did great work. 4 new HEO2, 8 new CI, 2 new CI TtT, 1 new Saw 2, and a new Logs Section Chief / PIO in training were all generated during this activity. Casey Wall put together a flawless week at Reticle Ventures Canada Incorporated. Labatt Breweries of Canada (understanding our culture and “the beer flag”) helped us out with product, where we end each day with a beverage and reflect on the good and the bad while we fail forward together. STIHL Canada and CASE Construction Equipment were put through the paces and their support is much appreciated, as well as Weatherhaven sending out their FSR to assist us in our first employment of our new shelters. Thanks to H2 Analytics for giving us Brandy L Alexander for the week and your phenomenal tech demo! Kimberly West covered us off on the development front for our VIP visit day where we welcomed Ontario Government | Gouvernement de l’Ontario and their Inicident Management Team. She also “got shit done” during Demob, and got a visit in to the Ottawa cache with the Ops team. Internal to TR Canada - remaining agile is key, and cross functionality is the way to get there. Tim Kenney also provided some lift on VIP Day, as well as showing up during our exercise portion to give some strategic level insights and injects which was much appreciated! Thanks to our Team Rubicon Global family in the US for lending us some instructors to get our saw program fully operational and able to force generate internal to Canada. This is huge for us. The folks in “Brockvegas” who got nailed by a Tornado (exercise exercise exercise) were able to get their airport opened up through the timely application of effects by our task force leader - Tom G.. There’s lots more to thank - but the biggest thank you is to our volunteers. Thank you for making the time to level up! I can’t wait to send you all across the country and international to continue generating more amazing humanitarians. #takesavillage #furtherTogether On this Remembrance Day - thank a veteran for their service. And if you’re a vet - reach out to someone you haven’t in a while, you never know when they need it.
