For years, Hertz has been an integral part of Team Rubicon’s ability to respond quickly to disasters, wherever they strike. This hurricane season has been no different. Over the past several weeks, we've launched numerous operations in response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton across the Southeast. Transportation is an essential part of both setting up and maintaining our operations. As a result of proactive in-kind vehicle donations from Hertz, we were able to get Greyshirts on-site quickly and safely in communities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Hertz’s year-round collaboration and in-kind support through their nationwide network is invaluable and allows for us to provide support more quickly to communities in crisis during both grey and blue skies. #HurricaneSeason #NonProfit #Partnership

We were honored to welcome National Commander of the American Legion and Air Force Vet James A. LaCoursiere Jr. at our Forward Operating Base located at American Legion Post 103 in Punta Gorda, FL. After meeting our volunteers and command staff and seeing how our Greyshirts are serving survivors of #HurricaneHelene and #HurricaneMilton, LaCoursiere came away saying Team Rubicon is “Family taking care of a community...to restore lives." With the support of our Ford Motor Company vehicles, we're protecting at-risk communities nationwide. Greyshirts and Ford recently hit the ground in Green Mountain Falls, CO—7,800 feet up—to reduce extreme fire risk in the area through wildfire mitigation. Meanwhile, Greyshirts continue to serve areas impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
