We are Canada's largest natural gas producer.
About us
Tourmaline is Canada’s largest natural gas producer. We are headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, and have significant positions in three of Western Canada’s major resource plays: the Alberta Deep Basin, the northeast British Columbia Montney complex and the Peace River High Charlie Lake complex. We’re proud to send our natural gas across Canada, into the U.S., and to international markets, powering the lives of many. Our goal is to have the largest, lowest-development-cost and lowest-emission natural gas supply in North America.

Tourmaline's Edson team had a great time creating a Home Alone-inspired float to participate in the town's Santa Claus Parade this past weekend, with a sign that read "Stay warm when you are Home Alone with natural gas." As Canada's largest natural gas producer, we are proud to help people stay warm when the temperature drops. Wishing everyone in the communities where we live, work, and play an excellent start to the holiday season! #community #Edson #naturalgas

Tourmaline and Clean Energy are pleased to announce the opening of two new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations in Alberta, marking a key milestone in our continuing efforts to build Western Canada's first commercial-grade public CNG fueling network. The new locations in Calgary and Grande Prairie, along with the Edmonton station which opened in April 2023, establish a crucial transportation corridor for trucking companies converting their fleets from diesel to CNG. “We are expanding our multi-year diesel displacement initiative by making CNG more readily available to heavy-duty trucking companies,” said Michael Rose, Chairman, President and CEO, Tourmaline. “Right here in Alberta, we have the technology, an abundance of natural gas, and now the infrastructure to help facilitate a transformative shift in the transportation sector.” For more information, please see today's press release: https://lnkd.in/g8B5rqtM

Tourmaline was pleased to sponsor a recent Energy Security Forum Conference hosted by the Canadian Global Affairs Institute and introduce a panel about the Canadian-American energy trade. The discussion covered the interconnectedness of our energy systems and economy, the impact of policy changes on how we move forward with the growing energy stack, the need to be agile as we respond to geopolitical events, and much more. It's clear from the discussions that we need all energy sources in the future to grow our economies — including natural gas!
For our last (not least!) panel of our inaugural #YOW energy conference, Leah Carson explores the economic & business implications of 🇨🇦🇺🇸 energy trade with Rich Voorberg Serge Dupont, Trevor Sutton & paul cheliak A panel kindly introduced by Tim Shaw #CanUSFutureEnergyCGAI
