Tridel celebrated Black History Month with an incredible Djembe drumming workshop led by Derek, Kemar & Noah from Afiwi Groove School.   Employees learned the Kuku Rhythm while exploring the rich history of African rhythms. To top it off, we enjoyed a delicious Kenyan-style Kuku Paka Curry from Rachel at The Abibiman Project.   Through music, food, and storytelling, we honoured the resilience, creativity, and lasting impact of Black communities in Canada. 🖤✊🏾

Today is Pink Shirt Day, also known as ‘Anti-Bullying Day’ in Canada. We know how important it is to have a workplace that is safe, supportive, and inclusive for our employees. Thanks to our two summer students through the #TDSBUrbanIndigenousEducationCentre, Robert V. and Judah Murakami, who came up with the idea of a virtual and in-person ‘Kindness Wall’ – a space where employees can share words of kindness, encouragement, compliments, and quotes to brighten our workplace and enhance our culture of belonging.

Despite the swirling snow, nothing could stop our homeowners from coming together for a cozy and creative paint night at Chateau Auberge on the Park. The evening was filled with laughter, connection, and vibrant works of art, a true reflection of the community spirit we strive to foster.   A home is more than just four walls - it’s about the connections within. Royal Bayview is steadily progressing with many recent milestones. Both tower cranes have been removed, and the exterior façade is nearing completion with precast and window installation done.
