🔧 How Misty Works:
Misty CO₂ harnesses the power of carbon capture technology by capturing CO₂ emissions from generators or other engines using diesel fuel or natural gas. Similar to the process of carbonation in beverages, CO₂ dissolved in water forms carbonic acid, effectively lowering the pH of alkaline mine water to near-neutral levels for regulatory compliance.
Our patented Misty™ technology operates by spraying alkaline water into an enclosed tank headspace filled with CO₂ gas, allowing the pH of alkaline treated mine water to be lowered to any pH, down to pH neutrality.
