On the Intersex Day of Solidarity and every day, advocates for reproductive justice and reproductive self-determination should reflect on how to make our movements relevant and inclusive for intersex people.

Alongside other gender equity orgs, we’re demanding an immediate repeal of the Name Amendment Act that creates unnecessary barriers and devastating impacts on the most marginalized communities in need of legal name changes. No one should be subjected to invasive and traumatic processes on their journey to find safety from violence, access gender-affirming care, or reclaim their Indigenous names.
