We are grateful to our charitable partner LiveDifferent for providing this opportunity to serve in the Dominican Republic. Throughout the ten-day humanitarian trip, WestJetters and Sunwing team members worked alongside LiveDifferent staff, volunteers, community members, and family members. Together we built four new homes, and made impactful connections to last a lifetime.  In addition, participants over fundraised close to $20,000 to go towards community infrastructure projects, plus LiveDifferent’s Community Development and Emergency Relief Fund. Since 2012, more than 600 WestJet Group employees have participated in the program and helped build 61 houses to lift up families and local communities.  Thank you to all who participated in making this year's build a success. 

With the announcement of our complete summer schedule for 2025, we are excited to introduce two new domestic and three new transborder destinations along with 11 new routes across our network. Our expanded summer schedule reflects our continued commitment to connecting Canadians by increasing our domestic and international capacity.
