Saying ‘can’ — when everything in you says ‘can’t’ — is where the change happens. 💪

Last week, I didn’t feel up to it. Running. No real reason — I just didn’t want to go. It’s easy to say 'can’t.' Way harder to say 'can.' But then I thought back to a couple of days before. I’d seen this couple with their newborn out at the gym. You could see the exhaustion on their faces — but they were out there anyway. They showed up. That stuck with me. So I laced up, faced up, and went. Here’s the funny part: it ended up being my best run yet. Fastest 5K. Fastest 10K. And I made 13.5K (just under) in 60 minutes — a milestone I didn’t think I’d hit yet a few months ago, especially that day. And it hit me: running — just like entrepreneurship — isn’t about waiting to feel ready. It’s about showing up. Even when 'can’t' feels so much easier to say. Here are 3 things I keep learning: 1. Momentum starts small. One foot out the door. One email sent. One messy attempt. That’s all it takes to get moving. 2. The hard days are the ones that teach you. The doubt. The resistance. The fatigue. Those are the days you grow. 3. The best wins show up when you do. The days you don’t feel like it? They’re often the ones that surprise you the most. So whatever you’re building — a business, a routine, a dream — just keep showing up. Even when you don’t want to. Especially when you don’t want to. Because saying ‘can’ — when everything in you says ‘can’t’ — is where the change happens. ——— If this spoke to you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. ——— #Entrepreneurship #Resilience #Leadership #Momentum #PersonalGrowth #Motivation
