Check-in Experience at Grand Hyatt Shanghai I was amazed by my stay at Grand Hyatt Shanghai. As soon as I entered the room, I was greeted by a stunning view of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Huangpu River. 1. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, even the hard-to-reach areas. The bathroom was spotless, with no fingerprints on the mirrors or glass. 2. Mattress: The mattress was comfortable and slightly soft, making for a good night's sleep. 3. Parking: Parking was free, which was very convenient. 4. Hotel facilities: The hotel facilities were complete and new. Some of the gym equipment was not available at Marriott or Sheraton. The gym had an amazing view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, which was great for running or weightlifting. The hotel also had a pool, sauna, hot spring, hair salon, nail salon, and massage services. 5. Interior decoration: The interior decoration was well done. The bathroom had a 4-piece bathtub and standing shower, with mirrors covering the walls. The shower had waist and back massage jets. There was a small clock on the bathroom wall, and a phone next to the toilet. 6. Convenience: It was convenient to take a taxi or drive. Walking to find food was a bit far, but the hotel had a restaurant on the 82nd floor. 7. Surroundings: The hotel was surrounded by tall office buildings and hotels, creating a high-end atmosphere. 8. Pets: I didn't ask about pets, so I'm not sure. 9. Lobby: The lobby was on the 54th floor, and the staff spoke English. I saw three foreigners trying to speak Chinese, which was interesting. 10. View: The view was amazing, especially at night. The building had a unique design, with an open interior. The hotel was a great value compared to North American hotels.
