Shortly after entering the door, you will first see the folding fan of the hotel. The sky lobby on the 78th floor is surrounded by dining areas in the form of intersections. This design also allows the front desk to see all the guests coming and going. It is a bit puzzling that the executive lounge is set on the same floor as the lobby, which also makes people feel that the hotel does not seem to have much space to use. ​ ​This time I stayed in the Club Deluxe King Room, with a view of Bijiashan Park. The 76-square-meter area makes this room an open suite. The design style is adapted to the younger generation, and Klein blue is used to enhance the visual impact. But compared to Guangzhou MO, it lacks the design sense and charm brought by Tony Chi. Near Christmas, the holiday atmosphere brought by the hotel is not very strong. ​ The hotel's swimming pool has long been heard to be among the top three in the country. Although there is no view inside, the super high ceiling effect is grand and quiet, with a touch of mystery. ​In luxury hotels, Mandarin Oriental is proud of its turndown service, which is not like a mechanical process, but more like a silent dialogue between hotel staff and guests. ​ ​Breakfast is served in the all-day dining restaurant on the lobby floor, with a full buffet, good quality and a wide variety. Cantonese dim sum is a standard feature of luxury hotels in Guangdong. I personally think that the beef brisket noodles and wonton noodles are worth a try. What's more, breakfast is also served with fresh coconuts, which is rare in city hotels, adding a sense of vacation. ​ The hotel's catering services are also quite complete, covering steakhouses, Japanese food, Chinese food, and Spanish food. This time I tried Tapas 77, which specializes in Spanish snacks, and the seafood rice was amazing. The bar uses the theme of movable type printing, and the wine list is printed separately. Sitting by the window and looking at the night view makes people feel that this is "Manhattan in Shenzhen". ​ MO really understands what people in every city need. Overall, the hotel is of a high standard. The hotel itself is not much different from other luxury brands in the same city, and there are indeed no weaknesses. But considering the price of about 3.5k per night, it is not very cost-effective to a certain extent.
