It’s back to London following a very engaging ASH in (mostly) sunny San Diego. A few takeaways from me and the BC Platforms team… 🌎 It was great to see real world cohort studies in poster sessions in many international geographies 🥗 The quest to find the conference salad remains a challenge, as ever 💊 Optimisation of existing oncology products from a cycling perspective and trialling established therapies in new populations showed some promising results 📺 The sheer volume of TVs in bars lining the Gaslamp Quarter was truly astounding 🥼 Research into new therapeutic targets in hematology presents many new opportunities ✌ I really enjoyed meeting with colleagues old and new in person which can be a rarity these days! #ASH #Hematology #RWE

Today will be the last #RSNA2024 meeting day, and as each time I’ve been able to attend, I can’t believe just how worth it it is! It was a great opportunity to connect with diverse stakeholders from clinical, research, and healthtech provider backgrounds during the RSNA meeting. I was so enriched by each exchange! We are in such an exciting moment—public and private research teams are pushing the boundaries of foundational generative AI by creating new models and exploring new ways to train already available large language-vision models. These advancements are accelerating progress and giving a fresh twist to the puzzle. This work is set to transform radiology in every aspect—clinical applications, education, research, and even AI development itself. These models are calling more than ever for truly MULTIMODAL real-world data to achieve their full potential. It’s encouraging to see that the importance of what we do has been reconfirmed yet again.
