Here is another golden rule in hiring: If the first weeks don’t go well, act immediately! If you have early doubts, don’t hesitate—fire quickly. By dragging it out, you’re not doing yourself or the candidate any favors. What starts as hesitation can quickly turn into suffering—for both sides. 🤦♂️ Be decisive. Act swiftly. You’ll save everyone from unnecessary frustration and set your business on the right path. Do you agree? What’s your experience with tough hiring decisions? 👇 #Hiring #Leadership #BusinessGrowth #DecisionMaking

🚗 China’s Automotive Takeover: The New World Leader in Exports 🚗 Take a look at this graph—it tells a powerful story of disruption. 📊 In just 3 years, China has stormed ahead, overtaking Germany and Japan to become the world’s largest car exporter! 🇨🇳🚀 Meanwhile, the US? Barely making a dent. 🇺🇸📉 Germany and Japan may be resting on their laurels, but China is winning the game by producing cheaper cars for rapidly growing markets – such as Asia, India, Australia, Middle East and Africa. These are high-growth markets which the western world seems to have missed out on. This is a strategic game, since it will be determined in those markets who will be the volume-leader in the decades ahead 🌍 The future of the auto industry is shifting—and fast. Are you ready for this new world order? #Disruption #AutomotiveIndustry #China #Innovation #BusinessStrategy

There’s one golden rule when it comes to hiring. Do you know it? 🤔 When in doubt, always say NO! Every time I’ve ignored this rule, it hasn’t ended well. Now, I pass this (hard-earned) wisdom on to businesses — both to start-ups as well as to large corporates. Just last week, a founder told me about a candidate who looked great on paper but didn’t perform well in a key call. My advice? "If you have doubts, remember the golden rule: When in doubt, say NO!" Do you have any non-negotiable rules you follow? 👇

🚀 AI is on the way down, and it's exactly what we need! 🚀 According to Gartner’s latest Hype Cycle, Generative AI is sliding from the Peak of Inflated Expectations into the Trough of Disillusionment—and I couldn’t be happier. 🎉 Most people see this as a bad thing. But here’s why it's fantastic news: 👍 Time for a Reality Check: The hype fades, leaving room for grounded assessments of AI's actual capabilities. 👍 Reduced Noise: No more endless futuristic proclamations—just real, focused innovation. 👍 Clearer Focus: Businesses can now zero in on real, value-adding applications. 👍 Better Thinking: Users will become smarter and more critical, making thoughtful decisions about AI use. 👍 Refinement: Developers can now improve AI to meet real-world needs rather than chasing trends. 👍 Cutting the Hype: AI vaporware? Gone. Opportunists? Moving on. This is the calm after the storm—and it’s exactly what AI needs to thrive. 💡 What’s the most over-hyped tech trend that annoyed you? #AI #HypeCycle #GenerativeAI #Innovation #TechReality

Probably some of you knows the story of the two sales salesman that went down to Africa in the 1900s. They were sent down to Africa to identify if there was any opportunity to sell shoes and they wrote telegrams back to their headquarters in Manchester. One of them wrote "Situation hopeless! They don’t wear any shoes." And the other one wrote: "Glorious opportunity! They don’t wear any shoes yet!" Now, there is a similar situation in the innovation world: Some of you think that innovation is dying because 90% of the innovation initiatives in startups and corporates currently fail. And there are some of us who think you seen nothing yet... How do you view the situation? Comment below! 👇 Based on our research on the UNITE models, the likelihood of successful outcomes in digital #innovation and #transformation can at least be doubled. 🚀 Why Digital Transformation is More Challenging Than We Think 🚀 Transforming a business digitally (Horizon 2) can be incredibly challenging, often more so than anticipated. The biggest trap? Treating digital transformations like Horizon 1 improvements. This is where most organizations fail. Insights from Our Research: 🔹 Systemic Impact: Changes in one domain of a business model (e.g., the distribution channel as depicted in the attached picture) often affect numerous other aspects of your business model. For instance, shifting to direct online sales can alter your customer base, change your value proposition, and require a reconfiguration of your value chain. This interconnectedness means that a simple tweak in one area can have far-reaching consequences across your entire business. 🔹 Take the Transformation Outside the Building: To succeed, you need to take the intended transformation outside of the building and work on it until you have a harmoniously functioning business model. This means isolating the transformation efforts from your core operations to avoid disrupting daily activities while you test and refine the new processes. Think of it as creating a controlled environment where you can experiment and iterate without impacting your ongoing business. 🔹 Transformation Requires an MVP: Just like with innovation, a successful transformation requires testing and tweaking across the entire business model. The best way to do this is by building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and verifying its effectiveness in real life. This iterative process allows you to make necessary adjustments before fully integrating the transformation into your core business. An MVP helps you identify potential issues and opportunities early, ensuring that the final implementation is robust and effective. 🔹 Avoiding Pitfalls: Implementing systemic changes without understanding their full implications can disturb your core business operations. For example, changing your distribution channel might require new marketing strategies, customer engagement approaches, and even alterations to your product or service offerings. Failing to consider these ripple effects can lead to disruptions, reduced efficiency, and ultimately, a failed transformation effort. 🔹 Effective Change Management: Once the transformation is configured correctly, bring it back into the core organization with a robust change management strategy. This ensures that the new system works harmoniously with existing operations and that all stakeholders are aligned and prepared for the changes. 🔗 Learn more about navigating digital transformation and leveraging the UNITE models for success: Explore the UNITE Models #DigitalTransformation #BusinessStrategy #Innovation #UNITEModels
