À seulement 25 ans, Amael Parreaux-Ey dirige Resilio I B Corp certified, une start-up innovante dédiée à l’évaluation de l'impact environnemental des activités numériques.   Fondée en 2022, l’entreprise s’est donnée pour mission de réduire l’empreinte écologique du numérique tout en soutenant la digitalisation. La start-up vient de fêter ses trois ans et d’ouvrir sa première filiale en France.   Amael est diplômé de l’EPFL et de Enterprise for Society Center (E4S). DPhi Space secures CHF 2.1M to transform access to space. 🛰️ A Swiss startup pioneering shared satellites for hosted payloads, DPhi Space will use this funding to launch its first Clustergate platform into orbit and further develop its services. Clustergate is the first product of DPhi Space, designed to aggregate multiple hosted payloads in a standardized container. "This funding round brings us closer to our vision of making space more accessible through a shared satellite infrastructure" said EPFL alumnus and DPhi Space CEO Aziz Belkhiria. 🌱 De nouvelles souches pour produire du biociment. Une étude dirigée par Dimitrios Terzis met en avant la pertinence de nouvelles souches environnementales pour la fabrication de biociment. Depuis 2024, Medusoil, la startup qu’il a co-fondé, produit des liants durables dans le canton de Vaud, ouvrant la voie à des constructions plus éco-responsables. Les résultats montrent qu’une optimisation de 40% des coûts de production pourrait être atteinte. Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of EPFL, Virtuosis is a health tech that offers an integrated AI solution that analyze your voice to provide valuable health and wellbeing insights. 🚀 Congratulations to three startups co-founded by EPFL graduates on securing digital support from the FIT - Fondation pour l'Innovation Technologique biped.ai has been awarded a CHF 200,000 Digital Growth loan to help expand NOA, a shoulder-worn harness, designed to improve mobility for visually impaired individuals, with wide angle cameras and multiple features. Co-founded by EPFL graduates Paul Prevel and Bruno Vollmer, they will use the loan to grow their distribution network and take NOA to new markets. Synature AG received a Digital Seed loan of CHF 50,000 to develop the identification of threatened species using intelligent microphones coupled with advanced algorithms. Co-founded by CEO and alumnus Olivier Stähli, the company is finalizing the development of its beta version of the microphones designing them for use in extreme natural conditions, thanks to this loan. châtaigne has been awarded a Digital Grant of CHF 20,000 to enhance its alternative meal delivery services. Using AI-powered technology integrated with WhatsApp, Châtaigne allows restaurants to sell their products commission-free.
