For W Magazine: Manuela Wirth on How Hauser & Wirth Became More Than Just a Gallery. ‘Over the past 10 years, I have formalized and built the gallery’s public education activities into a true global Hauser & Wirth Learning initiative. It stretches across all our locations and has its own dedicated staff. Our artists and estates—Mark Bradford, Avery Singer, Anj Smith, the Guston Estate, and so many others—participate actively in designing learning programs.’

Ursula Issue 11 Launches at Dover Street Market Paris 🇫🇷 We were thrilled to celebrate the release of Ursula Issue 11 at Dover Street Market Paris this weekend, surrounded by friends and family in the city of light. ✨ For our latest issue, DOVER STREET MARKET PARIS and COMME des GARÇONS founder Rei Kawakubo and CEO Adrian Joffe share the fascinating story behind their iconic "direct mailers"—turning advertising correspondence into art books. Bringing this creative journey full circle in such a unique space was truly inspiring. A big thank you to Ruinart for adding a sparkling touch to our celebrations, and to everyone who joined us in raising a glass! 🥂

✨ Celebrating the launch of Ursula Magazine Issue 11 at Hauser & Wirth’s 18th Street gallery! ✨ With Ursula Hauser herself present, we marked both the release of Issue 11 and the opening of the URSULA Bookshop, a new destination brimming with a curated selection of titles. We’re thrilled that artists Lorna Simpson and Rashid Johnson, alongside editor Randy Kennedy, kicked things off with their own personal recommendations. The night featured 'Mother Weaver,' a film directed by Lily Cole and commissioned by The Forgotten Her Story. This evocative film, which explores Ursula Hauser's remarkable legacy, became the first feature in our newly launched Ursula Screening Room at THEATRE. We are incredibly grateful to Ruinart for adding a sparkling touch to our celebrations. Thank you to everyone who joined and made this unforgettable evening possible!

‘Mother Weaver,’ a film directed by Lily Cole for The Forgotten Her Story, tells the story of renowned art collector Ursula Hauser and delves into themes of maternal absence or presence, birth and death through the lens of the female artists that Hauser has championed throughout her life. Through the lens of these female artists, and in discussion with Ursula’s daughter Manuela, ‘Mother Weaver’ explores themes of maternal absence or presence, birth and death. The film was created to celebrate the exhibition, ‘The Mother and The Weaver’ at London’s Foundling Museum, once home to 25,000 displaced and abandoned children across several centuries. Watch the film and discover more about Ursula Hauser and the artists in her collection on The Forgotten Her Story’s website ⬇
