À propos

The Ruinart Maison was founded in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. His uncle, a learned Benedictine monk called Dom Thierry Ruinart had an incredible insight. He foretold that this new “wine with bubbles”, developed in his native region of Champagne and which the royal courts of Europe adored, was destined for a bright future. Driven by a constant quest for excellence and the absolute, Ruinart selected chardonnay, a rare and fragile grape variety, as the common thread for all its cuvées.  For nearly three centuries, the Ruinart wines presided over the destiny of the House, which became a benchmark for excellence and elegance in the world of champagne. Today, Ruinart is both a champagne of choice for an international clientele and one of the jewels in the crown of the LVMH group, the world leader in premium wines and spirits. Enjoy Ruinart Responsibly. Forward to those of legal drinking age only. Any user comments which promote inappropriate or excessive alcohol consumption will be removed.

For the 2024 edition, the Prix Maison Ruinart was awarded to Édouard Taufenbach and Bastien Pourtout, a duo of French photographers. For the past six years, in partnership with the Picto Foundation, the Prix Maison Ruinart has highlighted the work of emerging photographers. The winning duo signs the series “The Jardin de Craie” as they chose to experiment with projection, a technique they had been keen to explore for some time. Famous for photomontages playing on repetition, they created their first in-situ superimpositions at Maison Ruinart’s emblematic address at 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES. Combining outdoor and underground photography, the project invites us into a conversation with the living world, where mineral, plant and human elements merge and interconnect. • The Jardin de Craie series will be unveiled for the first time in the Emergence sector of Paris Photo 2024 from 7th to 10th November at the Grand Palais : https://lnkd.in/e8VHHAZX • Not intended to be seen by persons under the legal alcohol drinking age or in countries with restrictions on advertising on alcoholic beverages.
