Many of us have taken the Myers-Briggs personality test to see if we’re an INFP or an ESTJ. Fun but not something that should play any role in hiring. Why? Poor test-reset reliability, limited and rigid categorisation, the Barnum effect and the lack of scientific validity. It’s why we use game-based assessments in our matching process rather than the traditional kind.
