🟠 Every child, every student, deserves access to high-quality STEM education. At Little Scientists, we're committed to making this a reality. Thanks to the invaluable support of our partners, Sunrise, Caritas - KulturLegi Kanton Zürich and AOZ, we recently hosted an amazing tech workshop for secondary students. Our young participants learned to code using micro:bits and then designed and built a mini-golf course with movable obstacles, colorful lights and sound effects. We're grateful to the entire Sunrise team for once again hosting us at their headquarters. A special thank you goes to the apprentices who mentored our young participants and made the workshop a resounding success. We're also grateful to Philipp Wälchli, Maria A. Cassa Rohrer and Julia Herrmann for their unwavering support. 🟠 Want to make a difference? Join us in our mission to make STEM education accessible to all. 🟠 We've just hit another major milestone in our journey! We have partnered with EMBA ETH Zurich + University of St.Gallen (emba X) a top MBA program and worked side-by-side with their students to help refine our business plan. It was a week packed with learning and growth, for both our team and the students. ⭐️ A highlight of the week was our first team-building activity, where 35 students were transformed into Formula 1 Teams, designing and racing mini paper cars. A great success!🏎🏁 A huge thanks go to Stefano Brusoni, Naya Suter, Parinitha Mundra, Izabela Jeznach, Ashwin Krishnan, Timo Nührich, Armanas Povilionis, Piotr Matecki EMBA and everyone else who made this possible! #LittleScientists #Innovation #sustainability #prototyping #Formula1 #socialImpact

Delighted to contribute to the EMBA ETH Zurich + University of St.Gallen (emba X) Social Impact Week! Empowering innovation with sustainable prototyping—where creativity meets circular design. #Innovation #Sustainability #Prototyping #SocialImpact
Closing the Loop in Prototyping: A Sustainable Approach to Innovation! Last week, we had the privilege of being part of the teaching team for the EMBA ETH Zurich + University of St.Gallen (emba X) programme during their Social Impact week along with Dr. Fabian Takacs and Stefano Brusoni. This intensive sprint week brought students together with partner organizations like Inverto Earth, KoraLabs, the International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC, Little Scientists Switzerland, Veloblitz, FREITAG, and GirlsCodeToo. The mission was to design innovative business models that seamlessly integrate the three pillars of people, profit, and planet. Recognizing the importance of prototyping in driving innovation, we dedicated an entire day to this critical step. Students were tasked with modeling key aspects—be it a product or a service—of their envisioned business models. To elevate the sustainability ethos of the week, Anja A. Niedworok and Parinitha Mundra implemented a unique approach to sourcing prototyping materials. They repurposed “waste” from ETH Student Project House, transforming discarded items into invaluable resources for the students’ creative work. What made it even more special? No glue or tape was allowed. Students were encouraged to design prototypes that could be completely disassembled, ensuring a closed-loop system and minimizing environmental impact. This sustainable, hands-on approach not only added depth to the prototyping process but also brought a new dimension of creativity to the students’ final presentations. The students' energy, ingenuity, and commitment were truly inspiring, and their projects were a testament to the power of combining social impact with business innovation. Congratulations to the students for their fantastic achievements! We’re already looking forward to what next year will bring. #Innovation #Sustainability #Prototyping #SocialImpact #embaX #CircularEconomy #DesignThinking
