Sherif brings over 10 years of expertise in Building Sustainability Design and Construction, making him a perfect fit to enhance the value we deliver to our customers. His knowledge of sustainable design practices will ensure that our clients have an "optimal" experience leveraging Optiml to decarbonize their real estate assets. Before joining Optiml, Sherif was a Building Sustainability Consultant at Ramboll, where he led LEED, DGNB, and BREEAM certification processes for multiple projects across Germany. His experience extends to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Costing (LCC), EU Taxonomy screening, and business development. His rich background positions him as a key resource in helping Optiml’s clients onboard on the platform, acting as the link between our product team and business units. We’ve added a powerful upgrade to the Asset Strategy Designer: It's now possible to upload or select a decarbonization pathway — such as the CRREM 1.5°C pathway — and set a minimum stranding year to ensure the assets align with the sustainability goals such as avoiding stranding before 2040. Our optimization models will automatically adjust asset strategies to meet these criteria, helping to stay compliant and future-proof. With each tailored pathway, one can gain data-driven insights to ensure sustainable, CO₂-efficient, and financially sound investments.
