    What Could an AI-Native Company Become? Remember when companies were defined by traditional organizational charts and reporting lines? Today, as AI agents emerge as potential peers in our organizations, these traditional boundaries seem increasingly artificial. What happens when we dare to imagine beyond them? This question was inspired by a fascinating perspective: Ethan Bernstein, Michael Y. Lee, and Joost Minnaar's HBR article (https://lnkd.in/dkg25RWW) exploring the possibility of coordination without coordinators, supervision without supervisors, direction without directors, and governance without governors. This got me thinking: In a world where AI agents can seamlessly connect and collaborate, which of these traditional structures still serve us, and which are just vestiges of human limitations? Like a ship's waterline that separates critical from non-critical damage, perhaps we need to explore together which decisions in our organizations could be enhanced by AI autonomy, and which require human oversight. But even this metaphor may be too simplistic. As AI agents begin to work as collaborative swarms rather than isolated tools, they may create possibilities we haven't yet imagined.
