I just completed the Pix4Dcatch - Pix4Dcloud workflow training course and I'm extremely impressed with the ease of use of their tools. I recently purchased an Emlid Reach RX scanning kit and the class was part of the package. I was a bit apprehensive that I'd have the time to learn how to use both a new GPS unit and software to use it but the Reach RX and pix4Dcatch work so well together that it was a breeze. I highly recommend this combo if you're looking for a cost effective, photogrammetric capture hardware and software. I plan on getting out in the field soon to capture a multi-family building for roof and chimney inspection. I'll post the results soon. Included in the training is access to several demo projects in Pix4Dcloud. This one was the coolest. Being able to capture, display and annotate is a game changer on so many projects. Enjoy! The 3D point cloud of the bridge was processed in PIX4Dmatic and imported into PIX4Dsurvey, where contour lines were created to analyze elevation differences and determine the foundation height.
