REPIC Supports Water Projects! We are pleased to announce that REPIC is expanding its resource efficiency funding area to include water. This expansion allows us to support innovative projects in developing countries that address critical water issues. Approximately two billion people worldwide don’t have access to safe drinking water, today, and roughly half of the world’s population is experiencing severe water scarcity for at least part of the year.  Hence, if you have a project that can make a difference in water resource management, we want to HEAR FROM YOU! We are now accepting project proposals in the following areas: 💧 Reducing Water Consumption for Irrigation: Projects that reduce or reuse water for agricultural purposes e.g. efficient drip irrigation or repurposing waste water. 💧 Rainwater Utilization and Drinking Water Conservation: Projects that promote rainwater harvesting and/or protect precious drinking water resources.  💧 Innovative, Locally Adapted Water purification: Projects that create new methods and technologies for water purification tailored to local needs and conditions. 💧 Protect Water sources from Contamination: Projects that implement innovative methods and technologies to safeguard water sources from pollution especially in hazard prone areas. 💧 Innovative Equipment: Design and produce innovative and efficient equipment to enhance water accessibility and sustainability. 💡 Find more information about the application process on our website: https://lnkd.in/eBa97iYq Image Source: Openversum, a water filter project supported by REPIC Rollout. #REPIC #resourceefficiency #WaterConservation #WASH #innovation #sustainability #DevelopingCountries #WaterManagement #Grants #FundingOpportunities
