In December 2024, the Schindler Vietnam Factory had the honor of hosting the Executive MBA cohort from the University of Oxford, representing various industries.   This visit provided an excellent opportunity to share our current best practices and the challenges we face in an emerging country like Vietnam. We discussed our approaches to innovation, sustainability, growth, and operational excellence.   The atmosphere was invigorating for both parties as we engaged in discussions and collaborative learning. We hope the visit offered the EMBA team hands-on learning opportunities through exposure to diverse working methods, interaction with unfamiliar industries and organizational structures, and an in-depth understanding of successful company philosophies through exclusive conversations with respected leaders. 🌏✨ Empowering Futures: A Heartfelt Thank You to Schindler-ers 💙 This International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December), Schindler Vietnam proudly celebrates our efforts in supporting the Vietnamese disability community through impactful and meaningful initiatives. 🌏✨ These initiatives are a reflection of our ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of Inclusion and Diversity (I&D). In June 2024, during Family Day across Vietnam, Schindler-ers and our families united in activities that not only strengthened connections but also contributed to a greater cause. 🎯 Every point earned during these activities was converted into donations for Operation Smile —a foundation that provides life-changing surgeries for children with facial deformities. Through the collective efforts of all Schindler-ers, we successfully sponsored surgeries for seven children across Vietnam, offering them a new beginning and a chance to thrive: 📍 Hai Duong (1 case) 📍 Hanoi (1 case) 📍 Ha Tinh (2 cases) 📍 Ho Chi Minh City (2 cases) 📍 Ca Mau (1 case) These surgeries, performed at a very young age, gave these children a brighter future, bringing hope and smiles to their families. 🌟 Their transformations are a powerful reminder of the impact of compassion, teamwork, and early intervention. 🦋 We are deeply honored to share certificates of recognition from Operation Smile, which highlight the significant contributions made by Schindler-ers. These achievements are not only a testament to your generosity but also a step forward in promoting inclusion and equity in our communities. "Leading With Compliance" Workshop Series We believe compliance is more than a checklist—it’s the foundation of safety, quality, and trust that drives our success. This November, our General Director Vu Ta has hosted the "Leading With Compliance" workshop series, engaging field supervisors from the Head Office and all Branches. Through 7 workshops, we aim to create a welcoming and open forum where field supervisors can directly share their viewpoints with the General Director about critical compliance topics such as adhering to procedures, ensuring workplace safety, and maintaining quality standards. They’ve had the opportunity to highlight what’s working well, propose ideas for improvement and affirm their own commitment to compliance. The initiative does not stop at listening. It’s about action. Our Management Team will review the feedbacks to define and implement follow-up actions. The status of follow-up actions will also be regularly updated to field supervisors, demonstrating the company’s commitment to building a supportive, compliance-focused culture. Wrapping Up Thanksgiving & International Men’s Day Festivities in Vietnam! What a memorable day in Hanoi and HCM, as we concluded the Thanksgiving & International Men’s Day celebrations at Schindler Vietnam! 🎉 Our day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and creativity as we split into teams to cook delicious regional dishes. 🍲✨ Each dish reflected the diverse flavors of Vietnam, and the competition was fierce! Our judges carefully evaluated the quality and presentation of each culinary masterpiece. 👩🍳👨🍳 But this event wasn’t just about food—it was also about celebrating International Men’s Day. We has embraced this special occasion as part of our unique culture. This year’s message encouraged our gentlemen to not only excel at work and contribute to society but also prioritize their health and wellness—inside and out. 💪🌟 To reinforce this message, I&D Council prepared thoughtful Door Gifts for all attendees, a small but meaningful reminder of the importance of self-care and balance. 🎁💼 Adding to the excitement were engaging games and activities designed to deliver powerful messages to our men.
