Eine neue Öl-Heizung wäre keine sinnvolle Investition in die Zukunft. Diese Grundhaltung war der Startschuss für ein spannendes und komplexes Projekt der Brauerei Baar AG. Heute wird für die energieintensive Bier-Produktion die nötige Wärme vollständig mit Holz erzeugt. Mit der #Klimaprämie haben wir das umfangreiche Projekt finanziell unterstützt. 🌳 7-8 Pellets-Lieferungen à 25 Tonnen reichen aus, um den Jahresbedarf zu decken. Eingelagert werden sie in umgenutzten Getreide-Silos. 🔥 Der Holzofen, der ein trägerer Wärmelieferant als eine Öl-Feuerung ist, läuft während des Produktionsprozesses durchgehend, die Bedarfsspitzen werden mithilfe eines grossen Wärmespeichers gedeckt. 💰 Neben der Effizienz-Steigerung macht das Fördergeld von fast 200'000 Franken mit Unterstützung der Stiftung KliK das Projekt auch finanziell attraktiv. Das erneuerbare Heizsystem ist auf eine allfällige künftige technologische Anpassung ausgelegt: Am Ende der Lebensdauer der Holzfeuerung ist ein Wechsel auf Wärmepumpen möglich. 🌍 𝐄𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐞𝐠𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐡𝐫 𝐟ü𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐊𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐳 🌱 Das Jahr 2025 markiert einen entscheidenden Wendepunkt für nationale und internationale Klimaschutzprojekte. Die Stiftung KliK setzt sich weiterhin mit voller Kraft für die Reduktion von Treibhausgasemissionen ein und stellt die Weichen für eine nachhaltige Zukunft. 👉 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐢𝐬 2030: 30 Millionen Tonnen CO₂-Äquivalent an Treibhausgasreduktionen muss die Stiftung KliK durch von ihr finanzierte und vom Bund zertifizierte Klimaschutzprojekte über diesen Zeitraum reduzieren. Ein Drittel dieser Reduktionen findet in der Schweiz statt, der Rest durch internationale Programme, die wir aktiv vorantreiben. Dennoch bleibt der Zeitdruck hoch: Der Erfolg unserer Projekte hängt entscheidend von politischer Kontinuität ab – insbesondere von der Festlegung des Kompensationssatzes durch den Bundesrat bis 2035. 𝐖𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐞 Ä𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧 2025: Im Hinblick auf die aktuell geltende Laufzeitbeschränkung bis 2030 gibt es im laufenden Jahr einige Änderungen bei unseren Förderprogrammen. 🔸 Anmeldestopp beim Programme Wasserstoff-Mobilität und dem Warmwassersparprogramm Ende 2024. 🔸 Begrenzte Anmeldefristen für Programme wie klimafreundliche Kälte oder Wärmeverbünde laufen Ende 2025 aus. 🔸 E-Baufahrzeuge erhalten den Förderbeitrag neu jährlich ausbezahlt und nicht mehr als Vorauszahlung nach Inbetriebnahme. 🌟⚡ Erfolgreiche Projekte wie die landwirtschaftliche Biogasanlage EcoBioVal in Courtemelon zeigen, was möglich ist – wir fördern Innovation! 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 #𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐨: Last week, Anas Felhi & Aurélien Pillet had the privilege of representing KliK Foundation during an impactful mission to #Casablanca and #Rabat, contributing to two high-level events that underscored Morocco’s leadership in climate action and carbon market development. In 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚, the event “𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘜𝘱 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘢”, co-organized by Casablanca Finance City Authority, Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), and the African Development Bank Group, brought together #key financial institutions, regulators, and climate leaders. During the session, Aurélien Pillet presented KliK Foundation’s focus on 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 6.2 cooperation, emphasizing the importance of enabling high-integrity carbon markets to unlock investment opportunities across #Africa. In 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭, the kick-off of 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐨’𝐬 𝐍𝐃𝐂 3.0 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬, organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development - Kingdom of Morocco and supported by GIZ Morocco, with co-funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union, marked an important milestone. The event highlighted Morocco’s commitment to an inclusive, participatory approach for developing its next 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐍𝐃𝐂) to align climate goals with socio-economic priorities. #KliK #Foundation emphasized that Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement is critical to #mobilizing #financing for conditional measures outlined in Morocco’s NDC, enabling the implementation of transformative mitigation projects. A 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬 to all the organizers, speakers, and participants for making these discussions so productive and insightful.   KliK Foundation is actively exploring opportunities in Morocco to support high-impact mitigation activities, particularly through investments in:    •        𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐕 and 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 (BESS),    •        𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐚𝐬 (LFG) capture and valorization,    •        𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 projects,    •        #HFC collection and destruction, and other 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 that drive measurable and additional emission reductions.   These #events demonstrated the #power of #collaboration between public and private actors to scale climate action. It is 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 to see the commitment of all #stakeholders to building a low-carbon, resilient future for Morocco and the region. Our colleague Vicky Janssens, General Manager 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚, participated in the 19th #INWEPF Symposium last week, focusing on “𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘺 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘈𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘯 𝘕𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺”. Representatives from governments and academia, organizations and the private sector from all over #Asia have shared their knowledge, best practices, challenges and lessons learned in adopting more sustainable practices in 𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐬. The region has been piloting plenty of encouraging solutions! 🚍 Das neue CO₂-Gesetz sieht eine Pauschalförderung für E-Busse vor, doch aufgrund der Sparmassnahmen hat der Bundesrat im September 2024 entschieden, diese Förderung vorerst auszusetzen. Das bedeutet, dass aktuell keine Gelder aus ausbezahlt werden (Details dazu hier: https://lnkd.in/dfjx7-Q6). 🌍 Unser Förderprogramm, das wir 2014 ins Leben gerufen haben, ist damit vorerst wieder die einzige Finanzierungshilfe zur Dekarbonisierung der Verkehrsbetriebe. Bereits 46 Verkehrsbetriebe sind in unserem Programm Hybrid- oder Elektrobusse angemeldet und werden Fördermittel erhalten, 29 dieser Betriebe haben bereits Fördergelder erhalten. 390 (!)
