The 2025 Ski World Championships in Saalbach will be remembered as a historic milestone for Swiss skiing. Swiss-Ski athletes won a total of 13 World Championship medals (5 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze) at the 2025 Alpine Ski World Championships in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Once again, they delivered an outstanding performance at the highest level, reaffirming Switzerland’s position as the leading ski nation. With a Swiss podium sweep in the men's event and silver medals in the women's event, history was made. Men’s Team Combination:  🥇 Gold: Franjo von Allmen & Loïc Meillard  🥈 Silver: Alexis Monney & Tanguy Nef  🥉 Bronze: Marc Rochat & Stefan Rogentin    Women’s Team Combination:  🥈 Silver: Lara Gut-Behrami & Wendy Holdener A particularly remarkable achievement: This is only the third Swiss podium sweep in the history of the Ski World Championships. 🚀 Unlocking customer insights with University of Innsbruck’s students. Over the past three months, a dedicated group of Master Marketing & Branding students from Universität Innsbruck, in coordination with Benjamin Niedermoser, Senior Manager Operational Excellence at Sunrise, conducted in-depth research to explore how our customers think and how we can further enhance their journey with Sunrise. As part of the "Strategic Marketing and Branding" course, these future marketing leaders designed and facilitated focus groups to gather first-hand insights, analysed customer interactions, and provided data-driven recommendations. Their findings have already sparked new ideas and innovations, helping us refine our customer experience. 🤝 A big thank you to this talented group for their dedication, creativity, and strategic thinking! Collaborating with Universität Innsbruck’s Team Service Management und Tourismus has been an inspiring experience, and we look forward to putting these insights into action to create an even better experience for our customers.

On 30 January, the first revamped Sunrise shop opened at 📍 Theaterstrasse 4, Zurich-Stadelhofen – setting the stage for a modern, premium look & feel across Switzerland. Sunrise and A1 Telekom Austria (A1 International Business) have joined forces to build the fastest dark fiber route between Vienna and Zürich. This collaboration creates the shortest and fastest dark fibre route between Vienna and Zürich, which is expected to launch in July, ensuring the lowest possible latency for data transfer between these key European hubs. The new infrastructure provides robust, future-proof connectivity for Telcos, fixed network operators, OTT services, broadcasters, and global enterprises, supporting critical applications like cloud services, media broadcasting, and emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning. «At Sunrise, we are constantly pushing the boundaries of connectivity to empower our customers with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
