🚀 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗲: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲! 🌍 Given the significant investment required for infrastructure expansion and maintenance, the public sector cannot manage this challenge alone. Private capital plays a crucial role in bridging the gap. As the backbone of modern society, infrastructure powers cities, supports education and healthcare, and is vital for both our standard of living and economic growth. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting our first Infrastructure Event, alongside three partner companies. Leading experts discussed the most pressing issues shaping the future of infrastructure. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 👉 Antonio Iaquinta shared Swiss Life Asset Managers growth strategy in Italy. 👉 Elisabetta Magrini explored how data and AI technologies are shaping tomorrow’s infrastructure, pushing the boundaries of what is possible. 👉 Carlo Forattini & Costantino Fassino addressed the opportunities and challenges of electric vehicle charging infrastructure by 2025, and what needs to be done to meet the growing demand. 👉 Gianfranco Saladino & Paolo Cacace shared insights into how telecommunications are evolving to meet changing energy needs and what’s required to stay ahead of the curve. 👉 Gabriel Damiani & Roberto Loiola focused on energy security in Italy, highlighting the critical role of infrastructure in ensuring a stable energy supply. 🙏 A big thank you to all our guests and speakers for making this event a success! #Infrastructure #EnergyTransition #AssetManagement

𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘍𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵! 📖 👉 https://lnkd.in/dERSh28z 🔹US economy starts the new year with advantages compared to Europe: the prospect of tax breaks and deregulation steps. 🔹An output gap has opened in Europe, reducing inflationary pressure over the coming quarters. 🔹In China, household demand remains sluggish. Here are the highlights for Economics and Financial Markets – put together by our experts Marc Brütsch, Damian Künzi, CFA, Josipa Markovic, Florence Hartmann, Christoph Lauper, Andreas Homberger, Sven Kreitmair, CFA and Jose Antonio Blanco: 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀: Following two years of virtual stagnation, an output gap has opened in the eurozone, which means that the capacities of the economy are not fully utilised. We expect growth to normalise in 2025 and 2026, but this will not suffice to close the output gap in the eurozone. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀: Following the ECB’s policy rate cut on January 30th, we anticipate five additional cuts this year, shifting monetary policy into expansionary territory. Regarding US inflation, we have a somewhat more constructive outlook than the consensus and thus still expect four policy rate cuts in 2025, which is more than current market expectations. 🔎 Follow our Perspectives to receive our monthly assessments of economic and financial market trends so you can gauge developments in a financially self-determined manner. #GlobalEconomy #FinancialMarkets #Economics

📢𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬: New logistics brownfield project in the Ruhr region! 🙌 In Bottrop, our logistics team will be developing the project ‘Central Ruhr’, including a state-of-the-art logistics property as well as a new office building and external storage space on a 100,000 sqm brownfield site. The logistics property offers over 33,000 sqm of rental space and will be divisible into three units. As with all our logistics projects, we are focussing not only on serving flexible customer requirements but also on an energy concept that fulfils international sustainability criteria: in addition to heat pumps, a photovoltaic roof system is planned to generate renewable energy. The aim is a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification. 🌱 📍 Due to its central location in the Ruhr area and the Global Hub North Rhine-Westphalia, ’Central Ruhr’ not only has excellent connections to the German and international motorway network via the nearby A2, A31 and A52 motorways, but also to the Port of Duisburg and thus the largest inland port in Europe. ‘Central Ruhr’ is therefore an excellent continuation of our ‘Roots’ logistics pipeline, with which we aim to create long-term and sustainable added value throughout Europe. #logistics #projectdevelopment #brownfield
