L’association suisse pour le bateau à Zéro Émission promeut la transition des bateaux thermiques vers des bateaux électriques et/ou hydrogène. Au travers de son « Swiss Tour », l’association vise à faire découvrir aux professionnels et privés les dernières innovations du domaine. En 2019, l’association avait présenté trois bateaux de plaisance zero emission à Genève et Zurich. En réitérant l’expérience du SwissTour en 2020, et ce malgré les contraintes COVID en vigueur, l’association ZeroEmissionBoat se démarque en tant que "plate-forme" de démonstration au bénéfice des constructeurs / hautes écoles en lien avec les bateaux innovants. Les axes de travail de ZeroEmissionBoat auprès des collectivités publiques : • Exonérer les bateaux à propulsion électrique / hydrogène de la taxation sur les bateaux (loi contribution publique), • Soutenir la reconversion de bateaux avec moteur thermique vers une motorisation électrique, y compris pour les voiliers au bénéfice d’un moteur d’appoint , • Installation de bornes de recharges dans les ports publics, • Soutien à l’installation de bornes de recharge dans les ports / marina privée.

On July 4th, the first Annual General Meeting of the International Electric Marine Association (IEMA) took place at the Yacht Club de Monaco, alongside the 11th edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge. Our association was represented by our Chairwoman, Sue Putallaz. 🔹 The first panel "Talent, Academia, and the Future of the Professional Landscape", moderated by Adria Jover, included the participation of Sue Putallaz from MobyFly | Zero-Emission Hydrofoil Boats, Jesse Makkonen from Kempower, and Chris Cudlipp from Seavolt. 🔹 It was the importance of attracting top talent and fostering innovative thinking to advance the electric maritime industry. 🔹 The panel urged balancing traditional and modern methods, emphasizing expertise in software engineering and battery technology. They also called for promoting diversity and offering competitive living packages to prepare for future growth.
