To reinforce this commitment, since last summer all quarterly physical Group Executive Board (GEB) meetings have kicked off with a volunteer event. For the most recent meeting, Sergio P. Ermotti and 14 of our GEB members joined forces with the inspiring entrepreneurs of our #UBSGlobalVisionaries program. During the session, our leaders worked closely with six Global Visionaries to tackle organizational challenges and explore innovative solutions. This collaborative effort supported non-profits and impactful Swiss-based entrepreneurs who are addressing critical social and environmental issues. Our UBS GV program, established in 2016, has supported nearly 90 organizations, focusing on quality education, climate action, and health and well-being. Through this program, we connect thousands of stakeholders to these changemakers, fostering partnerships and driving positive change. In 2024 alone, 2,351 UBS volunteers in Poland dedicated over 21,000 hours to 35 various volunteering projects. 🎭 What do you get when you put finance experts, tech engineers, HR specialists and other business professionals on stage? A breathtaking musical that proves talent at UBS shines not only in the workplace! 🌟 The 10th edition of our charity musical brought together employees from across our offices in Poland, united by passion for theatre and giving back. After months of scriptwriting, rehearsals, and practicing the choreography, our volunteers delivered a show that not only wowed an audience of over 1,000 but also made a real impact. We raised the equivalent of over USD 28,500 for the Serdeczna Fundacja Hearty (Hearty Foundation) to support local children and youth on their educational path!
