💡🫀Key milestone in lesion assessment predictability for the treatment of atrial fibrilation MedLumics, S.L., Vi Partners portfolio company, has achieved a key milestone with the completion of a First-In-Man (FIM) study for AblaView®, their breakthrough technology for treating Atrial Fibrillation (AF). AF affects over 100 million people globally, causing irregular heart rhythms that increase the risk of stroke and heart failure. Ablation is a leading treatment, but it often fails due to incomplete or unconfirmed tissue treatment, leaving up to 60% of patients needing repeat procedures. AblaView® uses real-time imaging to predict and confirm ablation success during the procedure, promising to improve outcomes, enhance safety, and reduce recurrence rates. Results from the FIM study will be presented at the AF Symposium 2025 in Boston by Dr. Atul Verma. 🌍 Link to the press release in comments 👇
