We connect donors & doers to advance WHO's mission and create a world where everyone, everywhere can live healthy lives.
Info
Millions of people have little or no chance of good health, simply because of where they were born, live, or work. At the WHO Foundation, we think that’s unfair and must change. We are working to improve the situation by connecting donors with amazing organizations on the ground whose projects are making a huge difference to people’s lives. Our links with the WHO mean we can make these connections all over the world, ultimately making healthcare fairer. While we share WHO's vision of a world where health knows no boundaries, the WHO Foundation operates independently.

In this picture, Muhammad is six months old and has just tested positive for malaria – one of the world’s leading causes of death among children under five. He was one of hundreds of thousands in Pakistan who contracted the mosquito-borne disease after mass flooding left almost a third of the country underwater. Thankfully, his mother, Umaida, was able to treat him after receiving malaria medication at a WHO-supported mobile health clinic in Balochistan. The World Health Organization (WHO) was part of the health response teams that helped mobilize services in the aftermath of the flooding. It is health responses like these that prevent children from dying of treatable diseases like malaria. By acting swiftly in health emergencies, WHO is a force for good health in Pakistan, and around the world. This Giving Season, your generosity can bring health and hope to families like Umaida’s in emergencies worldwide. You give. WHO acts. Lives are saved. Donate now via our website https://bit.ly/4ihfsnD, and please consider sharing this post with your coworkers. Thank you!
